Our French Collection IS mostly based on styles which were popular during the reign of Louis Philippe (1830 – 1848), FEATURING FLAT TOPS AND RADIAL CORNERS.
LOUIS PHILIPPE STYLE FRENCH MIRRORS
Louis Philippe ruled France between 1830 – 1848, lending his name to the decorative arts movement which thrived during his rule and beyond. This eclectic development of the neo-classical style features highly decorative pieces and ornate detailing, popular amongst the tastes of the Parisian upper classes.
