Overmantels was founded twenty years ago to make hand crafted giltwood mirrors in the traditional English way in Georgian, Regency and Victorian styles. We have an excellent team of craftsmen who by keeping faithful to the traditional 18th and 19th century methods, are capable of producing the quality of earlier times. Since we began we have gone on to expand our range to include French and Irish mirrors and more recently contemporary designs.

Many of our customers take advantage of our made to measure service. We are able to custom make mirrors to fill difficult or unusual spaces. We can also alter the height of some of our standard range from our catalogue. This enables us to meet the needs of almost anyone looking for a quality mirror. 'Overmantels' mirrors are recognised by conservationists for their authenticity and we have supplied many important sites, including the Houses of Parliament, Downing Street, the Dorchester Hotel, embassies and many clubs, hotels, restaurants and, of course, countless private houses.

All of the mirrors can be seen at our London showroom, where we also have a constantly changing stock of English and French antique mirrors.
